Best Time to Do Makalidurga Trekking with Camping
The ideal time to experience the Makalidurga trek and camping is from October to March, when the weather remains cool and pleasant with temperatures ranging between 15°C and 25°C. This post-monsoon period offers clear skies, fresh greenery, and stunning views, making it perfect for trekking and spending the night outdoors. The trail is more scenic during these months due to rejuvenated vegetation and minimal weather disruptions. It's best to avoid the summer months from April to June, as high temperatures and dry conditions can make the trek uncomfortable and limit water availability along the route.
